This is What I do on My Spare Time!

Allow me to introduce, the two most adorable little models in the world-- Meli and Jazi.  My niece and her best friend.  This was us playing grown up dress up, courtesy of aunties closet.  They picked a few pieces and took turns wearing it rocking it.  WE HAD A BLAST!

Then we picked something from her own closet, and funked it up with a cool hair-do and some accessories.  The last outfit (not pictured), turned the photo-shoot into a gymnastic party.  Meli has been in gymnastic for the past year or so, and she just loves showing me all the tricks she can do.  As a former cheerleader and PROUD auntie, I love pushing her to her limits and teaching her new tricks.  We've master front & back walkover and she is only 5.

Yes, I'm that kinda of the cool auntie!  I'm a not-soon-to-be mommy in training.  For some reason I'm fairly certain Maurice Junior will come first, so I'll have to do my homework on how to get down and dirty with the boys.  I can also just watch learn from dad, he's been roughing me up for a while :-) and I always tell him he needs him a son!  I must tell you, it has payed off (and all our friends pressuring talking sense to him about kids), we now have a date for when we will get off the pill and start trying.

I can't wait to take weekly pictures, and plan a co-ed baby shower, decorate the nursery, the delivery,  bringing him home, a year of firsts... and the list continues.  I'm sooooo ready!!!!!!

An Email From God (really cool thought i'd share)

God's Email
God's Email

To: YOU
Date: TODAY
From: GOD
Subject: YOURSELF
RE: LIFE
Dearest One,
Hi there! This is God. Today I will be handling All of your problems for you. I do Not need your help. So, have a nice day.
I love you.
God
P.S. And, remember…
If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do Not attempt to resolve it yourself! Kindly put it in the “SFGTD” (Something For God To Do) folder. I will get to it in MY TIME. All situations will be resolved, but in My time, not necessarily yours.
Once the matter is placed in the folder, do not worry about it. Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life right now.
If you find yourself stuck in traffic, don’t despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege.
Should you have a bad day at work; think of the man who has been out of work for years.
Should you despair over a relationship gone bad; think of the person who has never known what it’s like to love and be loved in return.
Should you grieve the passing of another weekend; think of the man or woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed their children.
Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance; think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.
Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror; think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes they had hair to examine.
Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking “what is my purpose?” Be thankful. There are those who didn’t live long enough to get the opportunity.
Should you find yourself the victim of other people’s bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; remember, things could be worse–you could be one of them!
Now, you go ahead and have a nice day.

Message to you!
God loves you!

Best Song Ever!!!!!!

You have to Listen!!!! (if you want :-)

Outfit and a Bit of Randomness

I have a feeling that the season for boots is coming to an end and I hate that I'm loving it.  I'm a winter baby (on the american eyes that is) but I'm definitely a summer girl.  I love snuggling with the hubbie, but I'd rather be hot than cold any day.

white zip up: thrifted
yellow long sleeve: walmart
belt: thrifted
skinnies: TjMaxx
boots: walmart
Thought I'd share this pic because it comes with a random thought..

I have a thing for teenage drama.. I watch just about every sitcom and reality shows there is... ABCfamily is my favorite channel on Monday nights-- Secret Life, Make it or Break, Pretty Little Liars (can't wait for the next season)... then oxygen with All About Aubrey (my new favorite).. Teen Mom, Jersey Shore, Dancing with the Starts, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Holly's World, StoriTelling Wedding, Khloe and Lammar ( which premiers this Sunday but I already know I'm gonna love it, b/c she's my favorite from the Kardashian's sister), Bethanny, all Real Housewifes.. back to sitcom, The Game, Let's Stay Together, Perfect Couples, Off The Map, Body of Proof, Desperate Housewives, Breakout King, Nikita and the list goes on... OMGsh I think I have a little bit of an addiction problem with TV.

PS: really please ignore the box.. it's been sitting in the living room for a couple of weeks now and it's driving me crazy.  It's holding our Honda Civic media console replacement (which was stolen from our car this past summer) that we just recently found on Ebay.  The hubby has been so busy and haven't gotten a chance to get to it, but I'll sure be glad when it's sitting nice and pretty on the deck of the car, specially because it's starting to get hot and the AC button (which they ripped out also) will be much needed in this weather.

Birthday Haul

My birthday is right after Christmas and ever since I was little everyone just combines both, but that's not what this post is about...  This year my hubbie alloted a certain amount of money and let me spend on things I don't need... for example more shoes!!! ( I have a thing for shoe, purses, and belts) They are my very favorite things to buy!

Anyways, here are some of the things I got; and before you wonder why blue?  because I love to be matchie matchie at football games and the Danger Colors are non other than navy and lime green.  I can't wait for the games to start late february.

I did order a couple things, but it was out of stock so I didn't get.  I just order replacements and I'll share those as soon as I get them...

my new favorite snack!!!

The other day when I was doing groceries (in the cereal isle to be precise), I saw Chex cereal and immediately puppy chow came to my mind (I could almost taste it in my mouth!!!) I'm kinda weak when it comes to commercial, I see it I want it (that's how I ended up with a Magic Bullet, no complaints btw).  Anyways, I bought the damn cereal ( I said that because I really could spare the cal, but no now I was craving it and know myself I would not rest until I had some) and as soon as i got home I had to make puppy chow.

Here is what is so amazing, I realized we had crunchy peanut butter instead of smooth, so I decided to use my white chocolate peanut butter; and it turned out to be THE BEST puppy chow ever.... Seriously you should go make some right now...  Oh and instead of chocolate chip, I used Nestle Nesquik.

Here is the word behind "my white chocolate peanut butter" if your wondering... I don't really like pbj's, I eat peanut butter on sugar cones or on Quaker Rice Cakes so I get a white chocolate or dark chocolate peanut butter(they're sooo yummie)  for me and the regular for the hubbie for his pbj's.

Good Email Thought I'd Share....

BY A 15 yr. Old SCHOOL KID IN   ARIZONA

New Pledge of Allegiance
(TOTALLY AWESOME)!

Since the Pledge of Allegiance
And
The Lord's Prayer
Are not allowed in most
Public schools anymore
Because the word 'God' is mentioned.....
A kid in Arizona wrote the attached

NEW School prayer:

Now I sit me down in school
Where praying is against the rule
For this great nation under God
Finds mention of Him very odd.

If scripture now the class recites,
It violates the Bill of Rights.
And anytime my head I bow
Becomes a Federal matter now.

Our hair can be purple, orange or green,
That's no offense; it's a freedom scene..
The law is specific, the law is precise.
Prayers spoken aloud are a serious vice.

For praying in a public hall
Might offend someone with no faith at all..
In silence alone we must meditate,
God's name is prohibited by the state.

We're allowed to cuss and dress like freaks,
And pierce our noses, tongues and cheeks...
They've outlawed guns, but FIRST the Bible.
To quote the Good Book makes me liable.
We can elect a pregnant Senior Queen,
And the 'unwed daddy,' our Senior King.
It's 'inappropriate' to teach right from wrong,
We're taught that such 'judgments' do not belong..

We can get our condoms and birth controls,
Study witchcraft, vampires and totem poles..
But the Ten Commandments are not allowed,
No word of God must reach this crowd.

It's scary here I must confess,
When chaos reigns the school's a mess.
So, Lord, this silent plea I make:
Should I be shot; My soul please take!
Amen

Jesus said,  'If you are ashamed of me,  I will be ashamed of you before my Father.'

Tah Tah for now!!!

hello hello!!!

Happy tuesday my lovely readers!!!! Just a quick post to share my new favorite.
Here is why this is my favorite thing right now... First of all, for those of you who doesn't know I absolutely hate cherry (ok hate is a strong word) but really I do not like the smell, the taste, the texture, scent... anything related to it (you get my point don't you?).  Anyways, as much as I dislike cherry, this body wash has a rather settled scent of cherry that I can surprisingly stand (alright, that I can say I like).  It just smells so good, I definitely recommend.

Well tah tah for now!!!

I'm Loving this...

I got this at the beginning of the summer and they are officially my favorite heels!!!  I can't wait to have more high high heels like that!! They aren't perfect but I love them anyways (by not perfect i mean they did hurt a little).  I mean all new shoes are like that right?  you have to break them in!!

We're Getting Sprint!!!

Happy Monday lovely readers!!!

So I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to be getting my first Android phone. YaY!!! But I also can't expect you to believe me when I tell you that my hubby is waaaayyy more excited than me. (huh maybe this is expect since men and technology are best friends)  But I'm talking about prancing and dancing around the house. A big smile on his his face, that if you ask me it would start to hurt after 2 min (yea that's how big it was).  Of course I was enjoying it, he looked like a little kid in the candy store.  It's not his first Android, but he is getting the best one out there, a 4G.
Here it is:

Mine is just a 3G, but i think it will definitely be hand full.  I'm kind of old school when it comes to touchscreens, but it does slides up to expose a full keyboard ( there is my S.O.S if i panic ) and it's pink; which pretty much seals the deal for me.
Here is mine:

My newest favorite!!!

So I just started to use this new shampoo and conditioner.  Mane'n Tail!!!  I heard that it was a great product, and that it would add shine and moisture to your hair.  I never really cared much for my hair.  I just went for something that smells good, or that was cheaper at the time, also whatever my mom would buy (she was pretty good at judging was made my hair healthier).  All that worked out pretty good for me, but now that I'm officially moved out and sooner or later I'll have to care for someone else' hair (i want to be the best mom) I thought I'd start paying attention to those things.  I was always the girly kind, but never the one who wears make up everyday or straightens my hair every morning.  Now all of that is just intriguing me and catching my attention (not really sure why), maybe because I want to teach all that to my little ones. Oh, and of course, I love getting the compliments form the hubby!!

Anyways, back to hair care.  I heard great things about Mane'n Tail!!! and decided to try.  I've been using it for a week now, and the first day was when I saw the most difference.  I'm anxious to see how it will turn out in a month or so.  I also heard it makes your hair grow faster.  You ladies out there that would do anything for an extra inch, Mane'n Tail!!! could be your answer.
